You know, I’m not a huge fan of cookbooks. 🤷♂️ I can be very into cooking at times, and love my NYT Cooking 👨🏻🍳 subscription, but cookbooks are honestly more of a visual thing for me (but please read on…).
This one is really great though. I know everyone likes Lucky Peach for its casual tone and relative low barrier to entry, and this book really fits into that vibe. It treats you like a normal person, gives you a full breakdown of everything you need to set up your 🍜 essential 🍱 Asian 🥘 kitchen, and provides really great recipes that can be really easy to tackle.
Mine also came with a coloring book. 🎨 Not sure if that’s standard or if I got it for preordering, but it’s a cute touch that I fell for.
